Here are three cards I made using the scor-buddy to demonstrate on C&C. I wanted to show how you can do simple backgounds using the embossing lines.
This first one was using white card placed face down butted up to the edge and then embossed along the first three lines, repeat on all sides to form the outer square.
Place the card face down again and emboss on every 1/4" line.
Ink the card from the edge, I used Distress inks so that the colour picks up the embossed lines.
Mount an image onto the front and finish off with a ribbon down the side, with smaller ribbon tied onto the main ribbon.
This one was done by using mirror card cut into 2" squares.
Place the square face down from corner to corner lined up onto the centre line of the board and emboss.
Keeping the top corner in place, move the bottom corner one line right and emboss. Repeat as many times as you want.
Place the card in the centre again but move to your left same as before. Repeat with all squares.
Mount the squares onto cardstock slightly bigger then onto your folded card. Finish off with a gemstone in the centre.
Again I used a square piece of mirror card but used alchol inks to colour it.
Place it face down onto the scor-buddy against the edge, emboss the 1st, 3rd and 5th lines. Now place the same edge face up and emboss on the 2nd, 4th and 6th lines. Repeat on the opposite side. This will give a fluted effect
You can then decorate in your own way.
